Happy Valentine's Day!

So here is our little "Sweetheart", I took this picture this afternoon, and had to share. Paisley has been such a joy and blessing to our home. As I sit here and look down at her sweetness, I am so thankful Heavenly Father trusted me enough to be her mother. My heart is full of so much love today, for my husband, my children, my family and friends, and for the gospel. I am working on a slideshow and details about her birth that I will post soon.

Introducing Miss Paisley Mae Perkins

I'm still in the hospital. I'll post the full birth story later. Long story short - she was born by emergency c-section, but is here and safe.

Here are the stats:

Paisley Mae Perkins
8 pounds 13 ounces
21 inches long
11:55am
February 5th, 2009

The Perkins are excited to welcome this new addition into our family. I'm very tired and recovering and there's much more to come soon.

Love,
Onala

Check out our round bellies!

So I am 39 weeks now, and officially "done" being pregnant. I went to the OB on Thursday, 3 cm's, 70% effaced, and he is IF I am pregnant by my next appointment on Wednesday we can talk about induction. I cursed myself my thinking I would actually have this baby in January, but having a February baby will be so much fun. I had 2 due dates of 1/30, and 2/7, so I can't get too anxious yet. I have always loved Valentine's Day, so we'll get our little "sweetheart" afterall. So, I have a bottle of castor oil staring at me in my medicine cabinet, I'm not sure if I'm that desperate yet. I guess this little girl knows when she wants her birthday to be, so I'm going to try to be patient.... Hopefully the next time I blog it'll be a birth announcement.
